Early Learning Indiana an Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership Grantee is supporting the implementation of the Early Head Start model (birth to age 3) within three high quality child care programs. We are seeking a Family Engagement Specialist to deliver and coordinate comprehensive family centered services. This position supports family well-being, in order to promote healthy development and increase school readiness skills of the child. This position collaborates within the community to maintain and develop partnerships in order to promote the program goals and individual family needs.  It will specifically be focused on outreach and family engagement to families. 

The School Leader is responsible for leading the day-to-day affairs of the school, focused on providing instructional leadership to promote growth in student learning, and ensuring a safe, supportive and productive learning environment for the children we serve, their families, and our team members. The School Leader is committed to implementing Early Learning Indiana’s mission to empower children with the essential skills to be successful in kindergarten and beyond.

The Team Lead works collaboratively with school leadership to lead and nurture growth of team members and to improve teacher practice within the school. The Team Lead also serves as a classroom Teacher, planning and implementing lessons to stimulate learning among all developmental domains and utilizing assessment data to drive individualized instruction. As a Teacher, the Team Lead creates a classroom community that allows each child to feel acknowledged, recognized, respected, and secure and partners with families and colleagues to ensure excellent care and education.

The Day Early Learning Teacher sets the vision for the classroom and is responsible for everything that drives the classroom experience, including instructional activities, the classroom environment, parent communications, assessments and interventions.  The Teacher creates a classroom community that ensures each child feels acknowledged, recognized, respected, and secure and partners with families and colleagues to ensure excellent care and education. The classroom Teacher contributes to a school culture that promotes student success as evidenced by the articulation, implementation and stewardship of Early Learning Indiana’s approach to teaching and learning.

The focus of this position is to assist center directors and teachers in implementing the highest-quality instruction, curriculum and assessment, in order to improve child outcomes and meet the program goals.

The Solution Center Representative will provide support to families, the early childhood professionals, existing partners, and others. They will identify service needs of each call, take steps to meet those needs, and deliver with accuracy and courtesy.

The Day Early Learning Classroom Support Professional works with the Teacher to implement lessons designed to stimulate growth across all developmental learning domains and establishes routines, rituals and structures to support individualized care for children. The Classroom Support Professional contributes to a school culture that promotes children’s success evidenced by the articulation, implementation and stewardship of Early Learning Indiana’s approach to teaching and learning.

The Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for cultivating community outreach opportunities for Early Learning Indiana (ELI) across an assigned geographic area. This role will support organizational objectives designed to promote key products and services, and build brand awareness to increase visibility throughout the state of Indiana. Using a variety of strategies, the Coordinator will build and steward relationships with local and regional stakeholders – including key government, business, and community leaders – within target geographies in support of the growth and sustainability of new and existing high-quality early care programs. This position requires regular travel, including the possibility of overnight travel, across the communities served by ELI initiatives.

Day of Impact

Each year, Early Learning Indiana brings together team members and volunteers from across the community to impact early learning and raise awareness of the need for greater access to high-quality early learning programs for Hoosier children.

Projects include painting and equipping classrooms; outdoor projects like planting trees, landscaping and building outdoor learning spaces; and collecting donations and supplies to ensure classrooms have the resources kids need to succeed.
